E-book and Guidelines for the Use of RENATURE Results

The Work Package 6 (WP6) aims to consolidate and make fully accessible the results of the project through the development of a structured and operational e-book, designed as a true user manual for RENATURE. This tool brings together, in an organised way, the project’s philosophy, methodological approach, results, and outputs, while providing concrete guidance on how to use them in different educational and training contexts.

The e-book is designed to directly support teachers, trainers, and stakeholders within VET systems, showing how the developed Open Educational Resources (OERs) can be used as practical, flexible, and reusable resources. Particular attention is given to content customisation pathways, enabling users to adapt the materials to their specific teaching needs and to integrate them into various learning formats, such as classroom-based learning, blended learning, distance learning, and self-learning.

Through practical examples, WP6 also promotes the scalability of the developed programmes, demonstrating how they can be expanded, combined with other related projects, such as EN-VET and CHERISH, or integrated into new contexts, including MOOCs and lifelong learning pathways. This approach extends the project’s impact beyond its duration, fostering the wider adoption and use of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) within European education systems.

A key component of the e-book is the valorisation of the experiences developed during the project. It presents the good practices identified, the results of the product testing activities, and the perspectives collected through interviews and storytelling with key project testimonials, including Associated Partners and representatives of Public Authorities involved. This allows for a concrete documentation of the impacts generated and the interactions with different target groups.

From an operational perspective, WP6 also develops a guidelines matrix, which connects different modes of use of the project outputs, such as classroom teaching, blended learning, distance learning, and self-learning, with their intended purposes, such as integration into existing courses, development of new training programmes, implementation of MOOCs, upscaling to higher education, or adaptation to adult lifelong learning. This matrix represents a strategic tool to facilitate an effective and long-term use of the project results.

Building on this structure, a guidelines document is developed, addressed to teachers, trainers, and decision-makers within VET systems, with the aim of supporting the assessment and large-scale adoption of the methodological approach and training programmes developed during the project. The document is made available in English and in the six languages of the partnership, ensuring wide dissemination across Europe.

The final result is a comprehensive and structured e-book, published on the project website and officially presented during the Final Event, which integrates all RENATURE outputs and facilitates their use, replicability, and adaptation in different contexts. Within this framework, the main objectives include the dissemination of GreenComp competences tailored to Nature-based Solutions across different VET sectors, as well as in schools and universities; the development of green skills related to NbS to facilitate access to certified green jobs where these competences represent a strategic added value, such as urban green managers and arborists; and the promotion of civic participation in co-governance actions related to NbS, such as the maintenance of urban gardens or the management of rainwater harvesting systems.

Through WP6, RENATURE ensures the long-term sustainability of its results, promotes the replicability of the developed approach, and supports the integration of Nature-based Solutions into education systems and sustainability policies, contributing to the creation of a lasting and widespread impact over time.
