RENATURE Partners Meet in Kaunas to Review Progress and Plan Next Steps
The RENATURE consortium gathered in Kaunas, Lithuania, on 27–28 May 2026 for the project’s second Transnational Project Meeting. Hosted by Kaunas Science and Technology Park, the meeting brought together project partners to review progress achieved during the first months of implementation and coordinate upcoming activities.
During the meeting, partners discussed the Comparative Report on the State of the Art of Nature-based Solutions, reviewed the project’s first Quality Report, and examined risk management, dissemination activities, and the development of the RENATURE educational programme. Particular attention was given to communication strategies, the project website, and the activities planned for the next six months.
The second day featured an open event with researchers, experts, and stakeholders who shared innovative approaches related to sustainability, climate resilience, and Nature-based Solutions. Presentations addressed topics including bio-based materials, nanotechnology, sustainable innovation, and GIS-enabled ecosystems, followed by a panel discussion on the role of Nature-based Solutions in supporting the green transition and the development of green skills.
The meeting strengthened collaboration among project partners and provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, engage with local stakeholders, and further advance RENATURE’s mission of promoting climate resilience through education and innovation.
