The Work Package 5 (WP5) aims to develop an interactive digital tool that enables users to apply and assess the knowledge and skills acquired through the educational programmes developed in WP3 and WP4. The application represents a key step in the RENATURE pathway, as it transforms learning into an active experience, fostering a deeper understanding of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and their role in the green transition.

Through a system of interactive exercises, the application allows learners to evaluate their level of knowledge in relation to the contents covered in both the introductory and advanced programmes. The activities are designed in line with European competence validation systems, ensuring a structured and progressive assessment of the skills acquired.

A distinctive feature of WP5 is the application’s ability to generate a personalised learner profile based on the results of the exercises. This profile is built with reference to the European GreenComp framework and makes it possible to identify the competences towards which each learner shows the greatest inclination. In this way, the tool goes beyond simple assessment, supporting a process of informed orientation, helping young people to identify educational and professional pathways aligned with their personal attitudes in the field of sustainability.

The application integrates multiple levels of interaction. It includes exercises related to both the introductory and advanced programmes, allowing users to progressively consolidate their competences. These are complemented by self-assessment tools, enabling learners to compare their level of knowledge before and after the training, and by feedback questionnaires, designed to collect users’ perceptions of the quality and effectiveness of the educational content.

All application content is developed in digital format and made available in English and in the six languages of the partnership, ensuring accessibility and inclusiveness at the European level. The interface is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, supporting a smooth and engaging user experience.

As in the other Work Packages, the testing and validation process plays a central role. The application is tested in each partner country with the direct involvement of learners, who contribute to its improvement by providing feedback on both content quality and technical usability.

The final result is a validated and ready-to-use digital application, integrated into the project’s e-learning platform, enabling the monitoring, assessment, and orientation of learning pathways related to Nature-based Solutions.

Through WP5, RENATURE strengthens the practical and personalised dimension of education, supporting the development of key competences for green jobs and helping young people build pathways aligned with a more resilient and sustainable future.
