The main purpose of The General Foundation of the University of Salamanca is to cooperate and assist the different departments of the University in the development of its activities and projects; together with the conservation of the cultural heritage of the University, one of the most important of the Spanish historical heritage. University of Salamanca – General Foundation (hereinafter FUNGUSAL), has extensive experience in the fields of education, knowledge management, education and training of young people, We have worked on different business projects in the field of intelligent work, specifically more than 20. We have approached the issue from an economic, social and technological point of view. FUNGUSAL is a public non-profit organization established in 1998 to carry out the following goals: •Contribute to the dialogue and knowledge between the University of Salamanca and private or public institutions, in any area of interest for University-Enterprise activities. •Promote training and continuous education activities for graduates, together with specialised courses, with the aim to answer the needs of society. •Help to promote the University of Salamanca in foreign countries. •Knowledge management of the University of Salamanca for its adaptation to the needs for the environment. •We carry out knowledge transfer projects with companies, regional, national and international in various areas of knowledge. •We design new training capacities through empirical experiences in the productive sector. •In short, we apply to training the knowledge of the productive sector, of the University’s research groups and of university knowledge. In addition we are integrated in the following national and international networks: -The Spanish University-Enterprise Foundations Network (REDFUE). -Spanish Network of Technology Transfer Offices (OTRI). -ASTP
